I couldn't get any photo's, but did manage to pick a couple of bees up on Saturday, wearing gloves so I never got stung, only to save them from getting crushed. I do hope they survive, as they are Beautiful creatures.

There seem to still be a lot of Bees about too. Nice to see them on the sunflowers too, well captured too.
Mikkel, I have done as you do, and removed bees, if I find them on a path, as don't want anyone to walk on them. I the woman who finds a leaf and gentle moves them to somewhere safe. We both have a heart then.

Even having been stung by a Bee, I will NEVER intentionally kill one. They ARE Beautiful.

I love bees, too. I suppose b/c of my grandmother, she said they were a sign of luck. Making honey, pollinating flowers & crops - I can understand where that thought comes from.

They are gentle creatures even though some people are very frightened of them!

I love bees but at times they don't like me. These aren't bumblebees but they could be the meanest bees on earth. Get near then and they will swarm all over you. It's been a while since the first attack but I was stung about every where. I was spraying the house with water and got close to them and the next thing I knew I was covered. Because of my allergies I went and got a shot. The next time was after our return from Hawaii. We got home early in the morning and I decided to cut grass and trim bushes. While trimming bushes one stung me. I moved to a different area with no problems. Got close to the area again and friends came back with him and him and stung me 5 more times. I went and got a shot again. They told me it might make me sleepy. At that point I had been awake well over 20 hours. Be fore we left the parking lot I was sound asleep. The only thing that kept me up was the seat belt. But I love them. There is one flower in the neighborhood that several people have called sedum. The bees love it and when I walk Sam we see hundreds and hundreds of them. There are a few bumble bees but it's mostly these bees. Here's a picture of them.
oops that isn't them but this is....

VERY funny!! Good bee photo, too!
I think if they stung me like that I'd hold a grudge!
