Those are lovely wf, and it won't be long till we see the golden hues of the trees, and hear the rustle of leaves too. I love the rich colours of the berries, and the shading on the leaves too.
The Horse chestnut leaves are changing, and there are signs of Autumn all around too.
These are last years pics, but just to remind us, of the beauty that is all around, and how wonderful nature is.

What beautiful pictures. There's not much in the way of autumn colours round here, but our old apple tree has the biggest crop of apples it's ever had.

Bumblebee, your picture looks lovely, it is nice to see trees loaded with fresh juicy apples. Will you be making anything with those apples, or storing any of them?

Great photo, the moisture on the apple is perfect.

Ah,those apples - nice as they look, they're not really either eaters or cookers,so the birds get them.Very effective at seeding tiny trees in the lawn though.

So does a late Spring mean an early autumn ? I must say that both the last two hard winters seemed to affect the next Spring's blossom, last year's was beautiful and this year's blossom was the greatest display I've ever seen. This year seems to be a bumper one for berries too.

I do not know here you live Bumblebee, but it is said here in England, the Autumn is approaching fast, as leaves are changing here early. It did say, it was due to the Spring weather.
We too had wonderful blossoms after a hard winter, but last years Autumn colours were out of this world, as I was on holiday then, in Wiltshire, and the colours in Stourhead gardens were just stunning. I will try find them, and stick a few up for you to see.
We have berries here, and rose hips and trees are changing colour too, it isn't a huge show, but it is noticeable.
Are you in England Bumblebee?

I have a gut feeling that, not only are going to have an early Autumn, but we are going to have another hard Winter like we had last year. It's only 12 degrees ATM - as cold as it was last winter just before Spring came.
