We had a great harvest last year with the exception of the carrots. They were a complete and utter flop. I think we got about a dozen decent carrots out of the 200 or so seeds we planted. Ah well, that's gardening for you. Here is some of the veg- The last of the tomatoes went to make 'Green Tomato Chutney' and it is yummy. Runner beans, we had pounds upon pounds of these- Onions- and the spuds even impressed the Cat.

You could almost have had your own "Farmer's Market", AC! Don't home-grown veggies just look so tempting. You sure did well!
I remember from my youth, my Uncle Vince used to grow great carrots. He had land the was close to a peat bog, so there was lots of peat in the soil, that made it easy for the carrots to burrow down.

Don't know what went wrong with them last year, we've not had a problem before. We'll have to see what happens this year.

There are little ball-shaped carrots, that seem to be fairly easy to grow.
