I wonder that it doesn't poison itself!

Looks like it is used to protect the rat amazing what creatures we have in the world and we never see any of them .But the newspapers do a great job of informing us of their existance..It really doesnt look very rat like..

That is pretty amazing. Sometimes animals are cleverer than humans. There are alot of things out there, we are yet to discover.
